Having known each other for over 10 years, we started our relationship as good friends. Eventually it became more and on vacation in Miami, he asked me to be his wife. We had only 5 months to plan the wedding and some of that time was spent in India picking out the dress and some other elements for the wedding.
We chose The Westin to host the wedding which was perfect since we occupied almost the whole hotel. With a traditional Hindu wedding, we had many ceremonies throughout the weekend. We chose a Cirque De Soleil theme with lots of vibrant colors and Cali Lillies and Roses as our flowers. We had a full Indian menu and our 3 Tier Cake was beautiful with peacock feathers in flower shapes. The best thing was that everyone enjoyed themselves.
